Again Iceland, Norway, Denmark, and Germany provide Ghana with Covid-19 vaccinations.

 Through the COVAX facility, the governments of Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland have donated 532,320 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines to the government of Ghana in order to support the continuation of Ghana's COVID19 vaccination campaign.

Mr. McAsey made a welcome remark in which he stated that UNICEF remained dedicated to the equitable and fair distribution of vaccines in order to make sure that no one was left out of the immunization campaign. He also expressed his gratitude to the four nations for their combined support of COVAX.

The Danish Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Tom Norring, stated that "no one is secure before everyone is safe" when discussing the fight against COVID19 and the importance of immunizing all Ghanaians. He pleaded with all Ghanaians to seize this chance.

In his acceptance address for COVID-9, Mr. Matthew Kyeremeh, Chairman of the Health Commodity Group, expressed his sincere thanks to the four nations for helping Ghana in its effort to vaccinate every Ghanaian.

Additionally, he was grateful to the COVAX facility for making it feasible for the donated vaccines to be shipped. Mr. Kyeremeh gave the donors his word that he would utilize the vaccines wisely to keep Ghana safe from COVID19.

"Nothing will prevent Ghana from moving on to ensure that everyone is immunized to help combat the COVID19 epidemic," he continued.
